SUMMER FUN 4 KIDS!
Do Re Me Music KINDERMUSIK
Music and creative movement for children 0 to 7 years old. Classes are for 5 weeks and will be taught at Asbury Methodist Church, Airline Drive in Bossier, LSUS and Bossier Parish Community College.
Tuesdays June 5 - July 3 5p.m. at Asbury 
Busy Days -newborn to 18 months w/parent
Set your baby's day to classical music. With a little more Tchaikovsky in your "Twinkle, Twinkle" repertoire you'll discover new ways your baby b enefits from the classics. Each lesson features new activities and songs to sing for all the places you go together. Home materials include a colorful book, cd of our music, posters, and cage bell instrument to play at home! Cost $100

Tell Me A Tale - ages 5-7 years
Children will develop an early awareness of rhythm, movement, singing, and drama. Each lesson features a new tale from around the world. It's an around the imagination adventure of the greatest stories from Europe Malaysia, South Africa and more! Home materials include: Literature book, home CD and lummi sticks instrument. Cost $115.

Sign and Sing for Babies age 6 months to 18 months w/parent
Through songs, toys, and playtime, Kindermusik Sign and Sing shows you more than 50 signs your child can use to communicate with you. Using research proven methods shown to speed language development in hearing children, you'll see how sign language can ease frustration and enhance long-term learning abilities for your child. At home materials include family activity guide, DVD glossary and flash cards using family friendly ASL signs. Cost $100.00

Zoo Train age 18 months to 3 years w/parent
Five lessons feature music, stories, crafts, and snacks to stimulate a toddler's emerging sense of imagination, coordination, and ability to learn more words. Bring your own stuffed animal for the petting zoo and learn about real animals in the zoo through music, movement, reading, pretend play. Cost $100.

This camp will be held at The Extra Innings Facility at 2535 East 70 th. In this week long camp we will stress the fundamentals and mechanics of hitting, fielding, pitching, and catching.

This clinic focuses on the mechanics and fundamentals of pitching and catching. We will utilize the training tunnels at Extra innings to conduct this clinic.

This 4 session clinic focuses on the mechanics of hitting and bunting. Our instructors will conduct detailed point by point inspection of the stance, grip, and swing. We will also correct any flaws or problems.

Summer Science Blast Day Camps!
Open to Kindergarten -8th grades (Each camper must be entering the grade)
Dates: June 4 – August 3
Camp Themes: (Camps vary week to week, for specific dates go to www.sciport.org)
Science Explorers (K – 1st grade) Have fun learning about many areas of science by making your own instruments, painting with marbles, growing your own plant and even concocting your own slimy science messes!
Sense-ible Science (K – 1st grade) Fun with your five senses! Learn how to magnify your hearing, how smell and taste are related, and how your taste buds really work. Make smelly playdough, learn some sign language and taste your own kitchen creations.
Under the Sea (K – 1st grade, 2nd – 3rd grade) Take a trip to Mt. Wanahaukalugi with Nemo and his friends, where you will learn about different sea creatures, get your own fish name, and even dine on squid!
Mad Scientist Lab (2nd – 3rd grade, 4th – 5th graders) Conduct crazy mad scientist experiments! Create your own cola, toothpaste, disappearing ink and learn how to perform crazy science tricks!

Grossology (4th – 5th graders) Learn about all the wonderfully gross things in your body that make you who you are! Explore the creepy crawlies that keep you clean, look a germ in the eye, and even make your own boogers!
Anatomy Academy (6th – 8th graders) Think you might like to be in the medical profession one day? Learn how to check vital signs, determine blood types, feel a real human heart and lung, and even dissect a frog!
Harry Potter: DA training 1st years (K – 1st grade) 2nd Years (2nd – 3rd grade) 3rd Years (4th – 5th grade) 4th Years (6th – 8th grade) (Each session is designed to be age specific)* Attention all past and future Sci-Warts students!
*This term Sci-Warts will betraining its students in the magical science studies of the famous DA (Dumbledore’sArmy)! Based on the fifth book in the Harry Potter book series, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, classes will focus on the science behind the magic Harry and his friends used to defend themselves in the DA. Also, the ever-popular House Quidditch Tournament will return as a day of action-packed competition for second, third and fourth-year students!

Space Camps:
Space Encounters (K – 1st graders) Make an edible shuttle, launch a gas powered rocket, create your own constellation, and make your own moon while learning about the objects in our solar system.
Galactic Adventurers (2nd – 3rd graders) Launch a gas powered rocket, create your own pocket constellation, make your own craters, and even eat the moon while learning about the objects in our solar system.
Cosmic Quest (3rd – 4th graders) Launch a water-powered rocket, create your own star, learn how to identify constellations in the night sky, and make your own UV ray detector while learning about the objects in our solar system.
Space Odyssey (6th – 8th graders) Build and launch a rocket, create your own star, learn how to identify constellations in the night sky, track a solar storm, and conduct tests to determine the damaging effects of the Sun's UV rays. _______________________________________________________________________
Camp Valiant – American Child Day Care Center
Dates: May 21 until Caddo Parish schools begin in fall
Open to Kindergarten through 5th grade
Daily field trips, roller skating bowling, swimming, arts and crafts, games and more!

Twin Lakes Day Camp – Bossier City Nursery and Twin Lakes Summer Camp
Dates: May 25 until Bossier Parish school begins in the fall
Open to 1st graders through 12 year olds (note: children must have completed Kindergarten)
Location: Children meet at Bossier City Nursery at 1329 Airline Drive, Bossier City. Children are then transported to the camp located on Dawes Road in Mooringsport. Bus transporatation provided daily from Bossier City Nursery. Children will enjoy fishing, boating, swimming and other lake activities, games, video games, pool tables, skating and more!

Rock Solid Sports
Dates: weekly sessions starting May 29 through August 3
Open to ages 4-18
Location: Rock Solid Athletic Club, 311 E. Preston St, Shreveport
Campers have the opportuniyt to participate in an all-around camp experience while also learning team building, character bulding and leadership skills in a non-denominational Christian enviornment. Rock Solid Sports camps take place on a 15-acres, lakefront facility that is equipped with swimming pools, tennis courts, ropes course, climbin wall, sports fields, minature golf, and an indoor recreational facility and more!
Cost $105 day and $199 for Sports/Adventure camps
